refunds, returns and warranty policy

Peel Electronics Products are warranted for a period of 1 year from date of purchase (excluding normal wear and tear or any damage incurred not a direct result of a manufacturing issue). All warranty issues are on back to base (Optimum Marine & RV Gasfitting, 8 Kelvin Cres, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland, N.Z) at owner’s expense (ie freight, removal, installation, labour not covered). A copy of a proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.

The warranty does not cover:

1. Faults caused by incorrect installation or maintenance, incorrect voltage or connection, lightning, external damage, accidents, moisture or any conditions beyond our possible control.
2. Faults caused by unauthorised repair or other measures carried out or undertaken by any party is not authorised by the manufacturer.
3. Transport damages.
4. Costs for freight, transportation, travelling costs, or costs for service calls.

Returns and Refunds

Where you are purchasing goods as a consumer in New Zealand, your rights are protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

This means goods must be:

• Of acceptable quality
• Fit for their intended purpose
• As described

If a product is faulty or does not meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

Change-of-mind returns may be accepted at our discretion.
